I seem to be getting better at finding money. Really no matter how small the amount i find is not an issue, as not just good at finding money, but fairly good at finding specifically 5 cent coins. Which is just what i found the other day.

I am working more on the idea of trying to build up other income sources for this project though as, finding coins is hardly going to provide me any sort of quick growth in the project, however i will never say no to finding either coins or notes.

I was out shopping yesterday, and as usual was keeping my eye out for money. On the ground i spotted something and thought it was about the size of a coin. Well, next thing someone walks over it and it moves to easily to be a coin. However as i went past looking down it was just a piece of rubbish, however right next to where it landed was a 20cent coin.

This is a good little lesson for many. Always be on the watch. There are many things that look like coins that are not and may discourage you. However, still keep looking, you don’t always find a coin, but there is always a chance that you will.

I made another small find today. It was a $1.00 coin on the ground when i was walking along. I believe this is the first actual dollar coin that i have found for the project. So with the find of 5cents the other day this brings me up to a total of $97.30 in the project now. Or just $2.70 off the $100 mark. Also just $30.70 to go to the completion of Step #12.

If my memory serves me correctly the coins and notes that i have found so far for the project include, 5cent, 10cents, $1.00 and $2.00 coins, and a $5.00 note. So for the complete set of coins i am still to find a 20cent and 50cent coin. However i am sure that these will come fairly soon themselves. I also do have a number of the notes to go, however they should also show up soon i would expect.

In the last few days i have been really getting into the new Tycoon Mastery Feature that is part of Be a Tycoon on Facebook. However i have been really finding it tricky remembering if i need to make a profit or loss, or what i have achieved and have not achieved. Jumping back and forth between screen in the browser takes some time, and i thought that there must be an easier way.

So I have taken a little time out and put it all into an Excel Spreadsheet that makes it a lot easier to keep track of. At this point it is a listing of all the items, group in each of the 9 categories, plus a column for each achievement you can make with tycoon mastery. It is quite straight forward and you can use it either in Excel or Print it out. I have set it up to print 3 categories per page, and everything fits nicely when printed.

One thing that you will quickly find when you are writing a blog is that placing advertising in the hopes of makeing money can be a finicky thing. In one respect you hope that it will make you a small fortune. While at the other end you are secretly hoping that it may just make, just enough to cover expenses.

The biggest issue lands in the space that almost always neither actually happens. You may get the odd click once or twice a month. But otherwise it is in reality not so crash hot way of making money. However in saying this there are two things that i think you need to do to make the most possible from advertising.

1 – The first thing you need to do with advertising is to track every ad space separately. If you are not tracking each individual spot on the page, then how do you know where people are actually clicking. For all you know you could be putting a lot of effort into placing just the right ads in the top left corner, when the clicks you are getting mostly come from the top right. Tracking each spot will tell you this.

2 – There is no guaranteed perfect ad setup, so take a little time to take a educated guess at where to start, and keep on testing. Try one setup for a few days or weeks, and then try something else out. Depending on your traffic, changes should happen quite quickly. So it should only take a few hours to start seeing results, if you have enough traffic to show results of course.

If you test and track and change as needed, then you do increase your chance of getting more income from your advertising however still nothing is gaurenteed so don’t rely your entire future on building an income from web based advertising.

Well i made another find of a coin, just the other day. Would it surprise anyone that it was another 5cent coin. While i will not say no to any coin, i am getting good at finding 5 cent coins and just the odd other coin on rare occassions. Need to change my thinking or something maybe.

I will be also looking to put up a small Booklet on making money on the internet soon, still finalising it and looking at the price i will charge, but it will probably be somewhere around $5 or $6 to make it affordable for as many people as possible. While hopefully producing much more then this in actual value. As i hope to when finished share quite a lot of information on a number of different topics online that will if not help you increase your income at least get you set firmly on the right path.
