Unfortunately they are not paying a lot though. Averaging maybe 11cents a day at the moment, which means maybe sometime in about 24 months i may get a payout from adsense, maybe a little longer for Commission Junction. This will be impacted a little as i have decided to discontinue ads on one of my sites for the time being. However it was a site that had yet to actually contribute any clicks.

Anyway, it seems this is still most likely the best returning part of this project at the moment. Which is kind of sad as there should be many other potential streams that are contributing to this project.

I am going to be looking at more ways to potentilly generate some income for this project, and even though it is something that i say quite often i am at some point actually going to get to it and make an effort, it is just finding the right thing to focus my efforts on.

About time that i do another update on my progress i think. As it stands i have not recently been able to add anything to the project. However i am still always working on ways to build it.

ADS ON SITES – This month has shown a small positive trend to ad revenue from my sites increasing, however at the beginning i had not had the forethought to actually set up a tracking id for each individual ad and only had one for each site. So after having to do some restructure of where the ads were placed on one site, i do not know if it was the original or current layout which is better. I have fixed this now and am tracking every ad individually.

$1000 DAY GOAL – This is still something that i will be absolutely working towards. As yet have nothing that is even getting close to the $1000 though, so may need to do a little planning and thinking about what it is that i want to push to try and make this happen. Maybe this weekend would be a good time to start i thinks.

WEBSITE PROJECTS – Trying to push through at least one website project, and hopefully will be looking to start picking up a few more very soon. This should generate some good income for the project and with any luck will help push me towards gaining the $1000 day goal.

I have a little goal that i have been thinking about working on which i thought this quarter being 1st April – 30th June 2009, being no better time to take it on. Basically the goal is to have a $1,000 day. But there is a little more.

At the moment my business is making pretty much nothing, for two reasons, one i have been working days, which makes it a little more difficult, but also that i have just literally been not trying. I want that to change, and this quarter is the one that i am hoping to make that change, but not only attempting to have a $1,000 day. In which i mean a day that i generate $1,000 profit from any activity other then employment.

As a base i do already generate some income from Interest every day, which comes in between $9 and $12 depending on the day and what i have in my account. So really i may take this into account each day but in reality it is a fairly small portion.

There is a second part to this goal, i would like to do this $1,000 day and at the same time be able to replicate it as needed, or wanted. Maybe not something that can be replicated every day, but even if it takes a day or two to prep for the day and by doing the prep for it each time, it will create a $1,000 day, that would be acceptable.

Anyway it is something that i am going to work on, and generally i expect the results will generally come from something other then what the business is normally, and as such i will put in anything i can to this project. Which could add up to quite a bit.
